Arbitration

Arbitration in the form of an arbitral tribunal or arbitrating expert is also a method of alternative dispute resolution, which, unlike adjudication, is subject to more detailed legal regulations from the outset (§§ 1025 ff ZPO). As it can legally completely replace the legal proceedings before an ordinary court, the parties are therefore not as free in the design of the procedure as in the case of an adjudication. However, the significant advantage of arbitration over proceedings before an ordinary court is, in particular, the fact that the proceedings are not public and the possibility of very effectively leading and deciding a dispute by selecting competent arbitrators or arbitrating experts. In the field of arbitration, we support our clients as party representatives or as strategic legal advisors, and we also act as arbitrators in proceedings.
