Prof. Dr Winfried Huck has been supporting Carneades Legal as Of Counsel since the end of 2022.

Prof. Dr. Huck studied law at the University of Bonn and passed the first and second state examinations in Bonn and Düsseldorf. Huck also received his doctorate from the University of Bonn.

After working as Head of Division at the Federal Office for Radiation Protection for fundamental matters in the nuclear fuel cycle, he was appointed Professor of Business Law at the Brunswick European Law School (BELS), Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences. His areas of specialisation include international business law and EU business law.

Prof. Dr. Huck is a Fellow of the Cambridge Center for Environment, Energy and Natural Resource Government (CEENRG) and Visiting Fellow at the Lauterpacht Research Center for International Law (LCIL) at the University of Cambridge. He holds another professorship at the Chinese-German University College (CDHK) at Tongji University in Shanghai and is a member of the Scientific Commission of the Global Law Initiatives for Sustainable Development (gLAWcal) in Essex as well as a corresponding member of the Cuban Constitutional and Administrative Law Society of the National Lawyers Association of Cuba. Prof. Dr. Huck is the author of numerous books and articles.
